  • Application — the software program provided by the Company, named UBL Insurers Ltd.

Types of Data Collected

While using our Service we may ask the Client to provide personally identifiable information including but not limited to: email address, first and last name, phone number, CNIC or passport, and usage data.

Usage Data may include the Client's IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, time and date of visit, time spent, and unique device identifiers. When accessed via a mobile device we may also collect the device type, mobile OS, mobile browser and unique device IDs.

With the Client's prior permission the Application may collect location, contacts, and images from the device's camera or photo library to provide certain features. Access can be enabled or disabled at any time through device settings.

Use of Client Personal Data

  • To provide and maintain our Service and monitor its usage.
  • To manage the Client's account and registration.
  • For the performance of contracts related to the products or services purchased.
  • To contact the Client by email, phone, SMS or push notifications regarding updates and service-related communications.
  • To share news, offers and information about similar products or services, unless the Client opts out.
  • To manage the Client's requests and inquiries.
  • For analysis, understanding usage trends and improving our Service.

How We Share Information

  • With Service Providers who monitor, analyse or contact the Client on our behalf.
  • With the Client's consent for any other specific purpose.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition or asset sale, with prior notice to the Client.
  • With law-enforcement authorities where required by law or valid legal process.

Retention of Data

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Usage data is generally retained for a shorter period, unless required for security, service improvement or legal compliance.

Client information may be processed at our operating offices and other places where the parties involved are located. This may involve transfer to jurisdictions where data-protection laws differ from the Client's own. We take reasonable steps to ensure secure treatment in line with this Policy.

The security of the Client's Personal Data is important to us. While we use commercially acceptable means to protect it, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Our Service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.
